Christine  Ferrigno,MS

I was born and raised in Torrance, California. As an adolescent, I knew that I wanted to grow up to be a therapist; to listen, to help, to assist others to recognize ​their value and inherent worth. 

While raising my two children, I pursued my Masters in Counseling at California State University Long Beach, to finally be able to help others as I had always dreamed of doing. 

Prior to having my own private practice, I worked with families and individuals at a not-for-profit agency for many years. For many years I also worked as a therapist and case manager in an outpatient setting of a psychiatric hospital. Working with my clients was profoundly rewarding and allowed me the opportunity to gain the ability to work effectively in crisis situations, to work with individuals with psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and crippling depression and anxiety. My compassion and love for others and their unique stories, was further strengthened by working with these amazing individuals. What I have learned from my own challenges and triumphs in life and what I have learned from the lives and experiences of my clients, inspire me to cherish life and the therapy process. Our lives are meant to be spent evolving, while wholly embracing and realizing the beauty that belongs to all of us.
